What it does
A PDF is read, the fields are recognised and the invoice is assigned to the right company. Mixed VAT rates, early-payment discounts and badly scanned documents are the everyday case here, not the exception.
How it is built
The reading runs through Claude rather than through template matching. The difference shows on the first supplier whose layout nobody has seen before: a template has to be maintained for that, a language model does not.
