What it does
Each department has its own shift templates. Early reception, evening kitchen, maintenance. They are placed onto people in a weekly plan. Split shifts on the same day are allowed, double bookings are not.
How it is built
The times sit on the shift, not only on the template. Editing a template later does not rewrite what someone worked last week. And a one-off exception does not need a template of its own.
